How bad was the damage? I ask because I ordered the second Nana to Kaoru live action movie DVD and the second NtK Black Label tank from Amazon jp last week, got them in five days, but the bill was 91 bucks and change. Wish now I had gotten the first tank as well for the amount of shipping

Thanx, Koro. I'll try that and let you know how it goes.

During the install, after the file association box, it goes directly to the create shortcut/run program box saying the installation is finished, but install has not occurred. Then, after clicking finish, it gives the error box. For now, I'll just use either the portable version of 3.00 or continue to use 2.18, which works fine for me.

Couldn't get 3.00 to install on my system, either 32 or 64 bit, I have a 64 bit system running Win7. Tried installing over 2.18, again after uninstalling 2.18, still doesn't work. Portable version seems to work ok, so I installed a desktop shortcut and will try that. Run from disk seems to load faster and handle page changes just as well as run from ram in my larger files (150-1000+ images). *sigh* background color change still doesn't like fullscreen

General Discussion / Re: Offline reading software« on: April 13, 2012, 04:56:11 am »well, you just got to have an idea of how many files you will have or expect. For under 10 files its safe to use single digits but still, I'd still recommend using two digit file names 01, 02, ... 09; this is true until you reach 99. If you expect more than a hundred but less than a thousand, start right off with 001. If you expect around 5000 files/chapters/page-number files, it is safe to start with 0001, 0002.... 4999, 5000. Well, you know how the rest works.Thanx for the tip on the fractional files. I had to fit a lost page in by going to the next page so it would go first to the right place. Was just too lazy to rename from there down, plus needed a quick posting fix without uploading a whole new archive volume 8

Yeah, that makes sense. As I said changing to a five digit numbering system fixed it, just gave me one of those "wtf is this thing doing" moments till I figured that out. Thanx for the info

I don't know if this is a glitch or what, but when I loaded a large archive file I made with page number filenames (this particular volume 734 to 1422) it loaded at page 1000. Going back and renaming all pages to five digit with lead in zeros made it load correctly, but shouldn't it be able to count better than that? I know it starts with one, but loading a four digit page before a three digit seems like a problem. Just thought you should know. Oh, and having the options menu inside the settings tab which can't be acessed in full screen (mostly how I use it) is a pain, but thanx for all the hard work.

Just installed 2.12 so don't have too much to say about it yet. Looks good so far. One thing bugs me, and has been the same since 2.06, it forgets the background color changes when you go from window to fullscreen, but this version remembers when you go back to window veiw. Also, if you are not going to do an installer for the new versions, you may want to include the 2.06 link for the new people who don't already have it. Thanks for all the work, Koro.

Yeah, Highscool DxD season finished. While I am guessing since the fansub I watched didn't tl, it looked like already advert for season 2 in July.
Just finished Papakiki anime, don't think there will be a season 2. Finale ruined the situation in this situation dramedy I really enjoyed it too. Even tho I am usally an action/ecchi fan.

Why isn't there a on- and offline option? I do both.

Sorry about that. As the mayor is an author of highschool girl gangrape novels, I don't see where he has a leg to stand on in a morality platform, but I don't understand Japanese politics at all. Just hope he loses!

Spam / Re: Manga or Anime?« on: March 25, 2012, 03:00:18 am »
In general I prefer the manga, but I still love anime (mangafreik just didn't have the right ring to it). Since I have a deep and abiding love for ecchi series, the fanservice certainly doesn't bother me as long as there is a comprehensable plot to go along with it. My fav this season has been Highschool DxD, but the final ep should have been double length. I know nobody does that, but it points out my main problem with modern anime, they keep trying to cram 20 or more manga chapeters into 12 anime eps, and most of the details and nuances of the original story are lost.
