I think mangaupdates should, in addition of naming all the projects a group works on, also the series a group picks up, so that other groups can see what series was already picked. This avoids conflict between scanlation groups and double releases.

There is fighting going on at a high school due to a power struggle for control. A beautiful young girl, the granddaughter of the director, requests help from a tough silly young man renowned for his genius fighting style. At the same time, other beautiful girls appear from the same high school who also want him as a teacher. Will he help and if so, which side will he choose to support? Or will he just show his true face with his bad boy ways?

The manga is currently at volume 11 and still +going in serial format in Young King Monthly. Japanzai is scanlating this manga and currently at volume 11.

The idea sounds neat. The only objection is that members of the scanlation group might like the freedom to release at their desired pace the series they want at the time they want.
