I've not used it for years. I don't hate it closing down for it actually sucks in my opinion, all they care is about money without checking if the content is right or safe
. For free users the long queue is also a mood-killling machine and I do not like the idea of using proxies just to bypass that one. While I feel that way, I also feel bad that sites like fileserve and filesonic adopted upload and download-only-what-you-own protocols.
The ripple effect of megaupload closing down is widespread and triggered so many contents to be taken down across the web. This is to be expected but I just hope it would die up soon.
Right now I'm very happy with MF. And thanks Japanzai for self hosting, don't know what to do if my favorite series ended up hosted on megaupload.
