Recruiting experienced Editors
« on: April 04, 2012, 06:13:13 pm »
Japanzai is in need of experienced editors.

The reason? Due to abondant TL applicant and previous editors needing break due to irl stuff, we are in an unprecedented ratio of 4 translators for every cleaner able to work on magazine raw.
As most of our current project are now using those said mag raw, we need experienced editors able to do the job.

If you are interested, please try this short test and/or provide some previous work you did on such material: ADVANCED TEST
And then post the application here: http://japanzai.com/index.php?board=8.0

Timezone
Age, or Age group (10-15, 15-17, 18+)

That's really incredible, 4 translators per editor. And depending on the series editing often takes twice as long as translating!  :gahh: Good luck cleaners/typesetters!
Magazine scans are the pits T_T Well, they can be. I've seen some that are really easy, and some that are really, really horrible. I've also seen some really... *interesting* results from people who really, really can't handle those crappy magazine raws... Good thing Japanzai staff all rock

If only this still applied now. What's our current ratio? Oh and I'll help out with editing if needed. Seems like all we're short on now is TLers

Ah, fair enough. It's just out "Staff Needed" box has a lot of TLers needed. GTO inclusive which I don't think is on that list.

We have TLers, but they have no interest in the projects that need them :/

That sucks. Well if we're ever short on anything other than TLer, then you could try asking me. Although Joining pages isn't really something I'm good at.

Well, as for TLers, quite a lot of them are ecchi TLers (like me), so only a few normal series interest me enough to translate (Maoyuu maou yuusha is one of them). That doesn't mean I don't read them though (read: leech)
Could someone make a list of TLers for various genres or something?
