Hey guys i wannna translate mangas english to french.

Manga is particularly written in Japanese... I don't see how an English to French translation will work out, not unless you plan to have a french group and become an affiliate.

Do you perhaps mean French to English?

                                                その目、だれの目?

Reading a LOT of manga and novels..

See the staff page, it's written C>E in there clearly.

It's fine, don't worry. It's preferred that applicants make their own thread, but there's no problem if you post here.

Hi, I'd like to submit an application to become a translator.

Languages: Fluent in Korean, English and Spanish.
Age: Late 20's
Education: Some college, law background.
Timezone: PST.
Prior Experience: Zippo.

I'm a fairly easy-going guy who likes to fool around but appreciates focus and commitment when it's time to really throw down and get to the nitty-gritty. I was born in Korea, raised in South America, and educated in the US. As such, I've been blessed to speak all 3 languages fluently, though my Korean does pale a bit in comparison to the other two. Most of my friends are Korean and it's the everyday language I employ the most, but overly technical or archaic words are lost on me. I vaguely entertained fantasies of becoming a writer for English or Spanish, but those were the dreams of a younger man.

I have zero experience in scanlation. I actually got started on this because I really, really wanted to share Kaiouki with the wider world, and began scanlating it on my own. That was one week ago. I have already posted several chapters on Batoto.com. If you were to place my head on an over-sized oil-press and squeeeeezed, my knowledge of Photoshop could perhaps fill half a thimble. Thusly armed, I ventured into the field of raw manga, and limped away with a win by default. Barely.

So, I'd love to share the work with others, and this is why I have come forward. I'm game for other translation projects, so long as I can free up some of my spare time from Kaiouki.

Thanks for the consideration, and I truly look forward to working with you all.
